NPT Homes Celebrates Record Attendance at AGM

More than 70 people, including 58 tenant, leaseholder and associate members attended NPT Homes’ fourth Annual General Meeting, held at the organisation’s Head Office in Baglan Energy Park on Tuesday 28th July.

Prior to the formal proceedings taking place, those attending enjoyed the special vintage-themed event including music, a sweet cart and games such as Guess the Brand. Exhibitions included our Digital Champions and Barclays’ Digital Eagles giving our members advice on using the internet.

The formal proceedings were compered by the Chair of the Board Roger Williams and members voted on key decisions which will assist the future of the organisation. Those attending also heard from Chief Executive Linda Whittaker and other senior staff, who described how the organisation has developed services, improved homes and helped the local community.

To conclude the evening, attendees enjoyed a vintage High Tea as the raffle winners and other competition winners were announced. A Tenant Awards ceremony took place to recognise the excellent community spirit that exists throughout Neath Port Talbot.

Chief Executive Linda Whittaker said:
“What a fantastic AGM it was! More than 70 people attending is great and we will build on the success of this event. I want to thank everyone who joined us at our fourth AGM and the many tenants, as well as our staff, who worked so hard to ensure the event was such a great success. The AGM ensures that our members have a say on how the organisation is run by voting on key decisions. We encourage more of our tenants and leaseholders to become members of NPT Homes so that they too can have a say on what matters to them.”

If you would like to become a member, please call 01639 505857 or email Alternatively, tenants can pick up a membership form from any NPT Homes office. It only costs £1 and takes a few minutes of your time to apply.
