Jonathon is a former Deputy Chief Executive for Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust and former Chair of the Board of the Seren Group. He brings to Tai Tarian a wealth of knowledge and expertise in growing successful organisations. During his six year term at Seren Group he was influential in developing the Board`s effectiveness, the restructuring of the Group's companies and leading in discussions with Grwp Gwalia which led to a merger and the creation of POBL in April 2016.
Since June 2010 Jonathon been Chair and a Trustee of Bridgend Foodbank. He enjoys keeping fit, loves listening to music and plays the piano and saxophone.
Harry is a retired accountant having worked in local government and the National Health Service before moving into housing. He worked for Housing for Wales and then within the Housing Directorate of the then Welsh Assembly. His main responsibilities within the Assembly were dealing with governance of housing associations and progressing council housing stock transfers as a means of achieving the Welsh Housing Quality Standard. Harry now uses that knowledge and experience to support the Board in achieving the promises set out in the Offer Document.
Steve has considerable legal experience and has worked with the housing and construction industries during his career. A qualified solicitor, he is currently one of eight directors at the Swansea-based practice Morgan LaRoche. He currently works with construction companies and has also advised not-for-profit housing providers on legal issues in the past. He lives in Neath and has a strong knowledge of the area, having also attended local schools in the town.
Shelley is a former Chief Executive for the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent. She demonstrated strong leadership skills during the successful transition from the Gwent Police Authority to the introduction of the office of the Police and Crime Commissioner in 2012.
Shelley has vast experience in strategy and performance, engagement and consultation, partnership working, collaboration and commissioning together with finance and scrutiny.
As a trained solicitor she brings to the board a wealth of legal expertise.
Shelley is married with two daughters, enjoys walking, swimming and Pilates and is an avid reader.
Peter has over 30 years experience in the housing association sector and has recently retired as the Group Chief Executive for Pembrokeshire Housing. The association trebled in size while Peter was at the helm and he led them thorough a successful period of change, including implementation of the group structure.
As Company Secretary for the organisation Peter had vast experience of the statutory and regulatory framework applicable to housing associations, with an excellent understanding of good governance. Peter has been involved in the voluntary housing sector at national level, as a Board member of both Community Housing Cymru, and Care & Repair Cymru. He has also been Honorary Treasurer of both organisations.
Mike is a retired banker with over 40 years experience in the UK and overseas.
For the last eight years of his career he was the National Head of Barclays’ UK Business Banking Risk Recoveries department and was responsible for all aspects of Strategic and Organisational Development.
Mike is originally from North Cornelly near Bridgend and enjoys gardening, golf and watching most sports.
