Director of Assets

Andrew completed his degree in construction management and established his career in the private sector working for a national house builder. He began working on site managing the construction of new homes and then began working in the development department. Andrew always enjoys a challenge and has worked on many complex projects.

Since then, Andrew entered the public sector and took a lead role in managing one of Wales' first cross sector funded schemes. He developed and delivered a multi-million pound regeneration project in Cardiff. The project included a state of the art health centre, residential apartment blocks and a shopping parade with a community space. Andrew also worked extensively on creating a delivery strategy for a housing association in Cardiff to deliver the WHQS programme.

Kevin Evans

Head of Business Intelligence and Decarbonisation

Kevin joined us in 2019, having previously worked for a local authority housing department and a Cardiff-based housing association.

With over 20 years’ experience in the housing sector, he has delivered a broad range of projects and initiatives, including business improvement; housing investment; landlord health and safety (compliance); area based regeneration; and housing strategy.

Kevin manages our commercial team and business intelligence team. He leads on creating a long term assets plan and approach to achieving our decarbonisation goals.

Head of Property and Land Services

Gemma started her career in Tai Tarian in 2011 (then NPT Homes) managing the tenant liaison function for the delivery of WHQS project and more recently became the customer experience manager for the organisation.

Prior to her work with Tai Tarian, Gemma worked for two local authorities, holding positions within the tenancy support, housing strategy and tenant engagement fields.

Gemma holds a PGC in sustainable leadership and strategic management from Cardiff University and currently oversees the property compliance, reactive and land maintenance functions, whilst also leading the customer experience programme, contact centre and satellite offices.

Nick Cope

Head of Capital Investment

After completing an honours degree in construction management, Nick entered the construction industry, working in site management and project management roles for a number of national house building companies. During this time Nick managed construction projects ranging from new housing developments, multi-story apartment blocks, extra-care homes, health and community centres, and a number of retail units. Many of these developments were for social housing clients.

Nick has worked in the social housing sector since 2012, when he started with Tai Tarian, successfully delivering their WHQS programme by the 2017 deadline. Nick achieved his PGC in sustainable leadership in 2017, and has over 20 years’ experience managing construction and refurbishment projects.

Andrew Hall

Head of Development

Andrew joined Tai Tarian in 2013 (then NPT Homes) as funding officer within the community regeneration team, before moving into the development officer role and more recently becoming the development manager for the organisation.

Prior to his work with Tai Tarian, Andrew worked for Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, holding positions within the European & external funding, and estates & regeneration fields.

Andrew possesses a BSc Hons in Business Management and HND in Construction & Build Environment and is currently studying towards an MSc in Quantity Surveying.

Andrew currently manages for the development team, responsible for all new-build and large-scale regeneration projects. He leads on creating a long-term, sustainable development programme and working with key stakeholders to provide much needed additional affordable housing, in line with our organisational goals.
