Deputy Chief Executive
The directorate of the Deputy Chief Executive is responsible for the Tenant Engagement, Change Management and Corporate Services functions.
Claire Maimone
Claire has over 20 years’ experience in both the private and public sector housing fields. She has a BSc in environmental health and a postgraduate diploma in business administration.
She began her career as an environmental health officer, specialising in private sector housing and was responsible for managing the private sector housing, building control and housing grant teams with the former Lliw Valley Borough Council.
Following local government reorganisation she moved to the newly established Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and managed the housing grant and regeneration teams, and took over responsibility for the management of council housing and housing option services.
Claire has considerable experience of working in the social housing arena within Neath Port Talbot and brings a depth of understanding of the issues that may face Tai Tarian, as well as a knowledge and working experience of the key stakeholders.
Andrew Harris
Andrew has worked in the public sector for over 30 years and has experience of a number of service functions and organisations.
He is a qualified management accountant and was previously the finance manager within Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. He has also worked for the audit commission, lectured at a local college and worked as a governor within a local school.
As head of change management, Andrew is responsible for looking at systems from a different perspective and implementing change to improve the services that we deliver to tenants.
Angela Priestley
Angela started her career in the financial services sector working for national and international organisations.
Her career in the third sector began in 2010 when she became a project manager for Gwalia, managing a joint working initiative with two local authorities which provided work opportunities to young people at risk of homelessness.
Angela then became the business manager for the care and support division before becoming the head of assurance for Pobl Group, where she oversaw performance, risk management, audit and policy. Angela was also a project manager facilitating and delivering improvement initiatives before moving to Tai Tarian.
Nia Singleton
Nia joined Tai Tarian in 2021 to head up the newly formed tenant engagement and strategic partnerships team with responsibility for the communications, strategic partnerships, economic and social regeneration, and customer liaison teams.
With over 15 years of experience working in heavy industry, Nia was the community liaison manager for Tata Steel's UK sites with responsibility for the organisations package of philanthropic giving, corporate sponsorships alongside their UK social media offering, specialising in stakeholder engagement and event planning.
With previous experience working within the substance misuse sector, she is also a qualified probation officer.
A current board member at Thrive Women's Aid and governor at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Castell-nedd.
