Sian is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) and has over 20 years’ experience working across public and private sectors.
She began her career as an accountant in 1996 at B/E Aerospace before being appointed as the head of finance for Environment, Sustainability and Housing at the Welsh Government.
In 2011, Sian moved into the housing and care sector with Opportunity Housing, where she became their interim finance director. She then worked for Gwalia, which, following a merger with Seren, became the Pobl Group.
Sian left Pobl in 2017 to work for the Hywel Dda Health Board before joining Tai Tarian in the summer of 2018.
Sophie qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2016.
Accountancy is a career change for Sophie, having previously worked in a variety of project management roles in manufacturing.
She began her career as an accountant in 2011, working in at an accountancy and audit firm in Cardiff, followed by a role in private aviation company, Cardiff Aviation. She then worked as a financial accountant at Cardiff and Vale College.
She moved into the housing sector at Rhondda Housing Association as a treasury accountant in 2017, before joining Tai Tarian in 2019.
