Easter 2026 - Useful information

We'll be closed for the Easter bank holidays on Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April 2026, meaning there'll be some changes to our normal services:
Reporting repairs
During this time we will only be able to deal with emergency repairs. If you have an emergency repair to report, please call us on 0300 777 3000. (You can check what we class as an emergency here).
You can still report non-emergency repair requests here over the Easter weekend. If you report an issue via the page, a member of the team will contact you when we return.
Gas leak
If you smell gas or suspect that there is a leak in or around your home, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999
Power cut
If you experience a power cut, please report it by calling 105 or by visiting www.powercut105.com
Payments
You can continue to make payments through the Allpay app and through Allpay automated payment line on 0330 041 6497. The automated payment line has a low-cost call rate and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To use this service, you will need an Allpay payment card and then follow the instructions on the call to make a payment.
Homes by Choice
There'll be no Homes by Choice on Friday 3rd April. It will resume on Friday 10th April.
Homelessness
If you are in urgent need of housing because you are homeless or about to become homeless, please contact Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council’s housing options team on 01639 685219 or visit the council's website.
Rubbish and recycling
Due to the bank holidays there may be some changes to when your rubbish and recycling will be collected. To see the changes, check out the council's website.
Anti-social behaviour
If you are experiencing anti-social behaviour, please report it to the police on 101, or 999 if it’s an emergency
