Join our repairs group!

We all know how important it is to feel safe, secure, and comfortable at home. That’s why we want to make sure our repair service is working for all, and who better to help us do that than you?

If you’ve ever had ideas for improving repairs or want to make sure your voice is heard when it comes to getting things sorted, this is the group for you.

What is the repairs group?

This group brings together tenants who want to help shape and improve our repairs service. You’ll get involved in discussions and give feedback on things like:

  • Our repairs strategy, how we plan and deliver repairs
  • Appointments and communication, what works and what doesn’t
  • Service improvements and changes, making the experience better for you and your home

Why join?

  • Make a real difference to the services you and your neighbour’s use
  • Help us improve the speed, quality, and experience of getting repairs done
  • Be part of positive change that affects thousands of homes
  • Build your confidence and understanding of how the repairs process works

The commitment

A minimum of two meetings/sessions per year. These will be community based at a time that works for you.

What skills do I need?

  • A passion for our communities and not being afraid to have your say.
  • No prior experience of being involved is needed, as training will be given once you join.
  • You don’t need any construction knowledge, just experience of having repairs with us and honest views and ideas.

What’s in it for you?

  • £20 shopping voucher per session
  • Travel and childcare costs covered*
  • Learn new skills through expert training from the likes of TPAS Cymru
  • A thank-you card for your time.

*Childcare support is available on a case-by-case basis (registered providers only).
